She Grows is an initiative by women – for women – our mission is to create an inclusive space where women and non-binary can connect, inspire, and support one another on their journeys through personal and professional growth. Guided by our core values we are committed to creating an environment where women can thrive and lead change. Together. We want to be the leading change in empowering more female leaders, innovators and founders.

She Grows mentorship programme matches the right mentor to right mentee who offer them invaluable insights & advice necessary for their growth. Mentors and mentees work closely together to set goals, overcome challenges, and celebrate achievements.

So what does a She Grows mentor do?

A mentor for She Grows is an experienced and thoughtful person who is committed to investing their time to assist in the growth and development of others. You’re willing to share your knowledge, experience, and wisdom and work as a role model and sounding board.

By becoming a mentor for She Grows mentorship programme you will be thoroughly assessed and commit to do the following:

  • Provide guidance and support
  • Cultivate a relationship of understanding
  • Accomplish goals
  • Build trust through engagement
  • Facilitate learning opportunities
  • Provide a healthy feedback that is honest, open and positive.
  • Offer opportunities to problem solve and exchange ideas
  • Present opportunities to the mentee may not have recognized on his/her own

But most importantly you share core values with your mentee.


What She Grows expect from their mentors:

A commitment to the importance of the mentoring relationship, communication and interactions. Maintaning confidentiality and terms outlined in the mentorship agreement. That you foster positivity and encouragement throughout and a  willingness to participate in any evaluation of the mentorship programme.


So what in it for you as a mentor for She Grows?

  • Providing mentorship is an opportunity to build leadership and management skills
  • Mentorship can provide mentors the gratification of sharing their own personal wisdom with others

Building great things takes time, and so we will launch different areas overtime, but for now. We're already up and running with our mentorship programme on a trial basis and looking for more mentors.
