What you’ll be doing.
As a design engineer at Oryx, you’ll be managing several parallel projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product requirements and develop design concepts, product calculation, technical documentation, assembly instructions as well as some CE labelling. For us is all about the team, we all do our best to develop cutting edge products for our clients and we all ensure we help each other on the journey doing so. For the right person there is an opportunity to be the contact person for both external designers as well as the production.
What we think you should have.
To be Oryx next design engineer you have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in product design and development, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Experience from modern CAD software, understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.

You have excellent communication and collaborations skills, ability to analyze and interpret technical data and specifications, both most of all you’re a teamplayer.
Oryx Simulations is a Umeå-based Swedish company that was founded in 1999 and is owned by Komatsu. We are world leaders in machine-realistic, brand-specific simulator systems for vehicle applications. Our goal is always to enhance the value of the real machine. To ensure that the simulators reflect the real-world experience of a machine, our simulators are designed in cooperation with the machine manufacturers.
