The VP of operations and finance is a key member of the management team, reporting directly to the CEO.

In this role you will have ownership of various business operations, be responsible for developing, overseeing and implementing robust operational processes and serve as a leading product owner of key corporate initiatives.

Overall responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily business operations of the company and support and lead the senior team in achieving the defined business strategy.
• Lead by example for a culture of accountability, setting clear and attainable goals and objectives in partnership with heads of key business units.
• Implement a corporate measurement system to ensure reachability of our key goals across all company units.
• Review performance of the company through analysis of data metrics
• Complete reports for all major projects associated with corporate compliance.
• Support the CEO in corporate growth and development initiatives.
• Manage Relationships with 3rd party vendors including finance, legal & corporate development.
• Identify and implement process and procedures fit for scale.
• Manage the operations budget and oversee accounting/finance & associated P&L.
• Ensure people plan and resources are on track.
• Support and lead on organizational and people development.
• Perform broad executive duties

Qualifications:

You have extensive experience of working together with senior stakeholders across key business areas, as well as general management experience, preferably from the entertainment/media industry.

You have solid leadership skills and the ability to lead others. You quickly gain trust and have a natural ability to inspire and create engagement, and a sense of belonging throughout the organization.

You have a growth mindset, confident in who you are, and have a strong desire to make positive contributions to the world from an internal place.

• Proven ability to translate broad goals and strategies into specific activities and initiatives that increase contributed revenue.
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills, including the ability to engage employees and partners and serve as an “evangelist” on the company’s behalf.
• Ability to organize and prioritize projects, initiatives, and solicitation efforts.
• Experience and demonstrated success in building and managing teams.
